My journey in the construction industry began in 2003 when I embarked on my first official construction experience as a laborer. Over the course of three years, I honed my skills in a large commercial building, becoming an integral part of the team entrusted with the design and construction of complex concrete forms. Our crowning achievement was the intricate butterfly roof of the iconic Shutters luxury apartment complex.

Continuous Learning and Growth

Driven by a passion for excellence, I enrolled in an apprenticeship program at Camosun College while gaining invaluable experience in residential building and renovation. Through hard work and determination, I completed the four-year program in just three years, earning the prestigious Instructor’s Choice award from the Department of Trades and Technology. This recognition symbolized my unwavering motivation to succeed in the field and was sponsored by the esteemed Canadian Home Builders Association of Victoria.

Setting New Standards of Excellence

In March 2009, armed with the Red Seal Certification in Carpentry, a symbol of excellence in the skilled trades, I established DCR Renovations. Focusing on the residential sector, particularly the renovation field, we quickly earned a reputation for our meticulous attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional results.

Expanding Our Horizons

With the Residential Builder Licence and membership in the HomePro Warranty Program, DCR Renovations ventured into the realm of building houses. This program, emphasizing high standards and rigorous inspections by insurance companies, allowed us to engage in all aspects of house construction, from excavation to the final finishing touches. Our dedication to excellence shone through as we brought dream homes to life.
